By creating an aggregation that used solely 2D components, the challenge that arose was creating a three-dimensional holistic piece which begins to successfully mask the part in order to create the whole. Through iterative experimentation, the component created from three flat figures begins to demand a regulative linear path. On site, this pattern was transfigured by creating a new four-piece component which acted as a key used to combine these linear pieces of component geometry.
Each linear piece was constructed from eight components, created from the 3 piece flat package. This soft offset was used to imprint and index the ground creating small pools of water in collaboration with ground disruptions in the form of small steps and areas to sit within the large sculptures.
